HARLEY NEEDS YOUR HELP! I’ve always had an affinity for large dogs, so I took a liking to HARLEY immediately. He is the friendly, kinda goofy type; loving to be petted, hugged and generally loved on and always returning the love. I have spent many hours in the kennel, sitting on the floor with HARLEY by my side, either leaning on me or with his head in my lap. Silently, he always let me know that everything was right with the world.
HARLEY can best be described as the perfect large-breed dog. His true Rottweiler heritage shines through as the friendly, playful, affectionate type that returns as much love as he receives -- and more. He’s not ashamed to bound around and squeal his affection for his people. But HARLEY needs your help to continue to live each day to its fullest. |

What you can do to help: Companion Connection depends on donations to feed, house and provide medical care for all the animals at the sanctuary. Donations may be monetary or in the form of food, litter, towels and sheets. Please see our wish list for more ideas. We are also in need of volunteers to help keep the village clean and the dogs socialized and exercised. If you can help us in any way, we would love to hear from you. |

We love Harley --- won’t you help us?
YES! In support of Harley, I want to help Companion Connection provide the medical care needed to allow Harley to run like the young dog he is.
UPDATE! Harley has had his left knee surgery and is doing very well! Donations are still welcomed for his right knee surgery. |
|
After conferring with our usual Veterinarian, we took HARLEY to an Orthopedic Surgeon. He found that at only four years old HARLEY has developed a pinched nerve in his spine and ligament tears in the knee joints of both rear legs. He requires surgery to relieve the growing pain. Companion Connection needs YOUR HELP to raise funds for surgery that will likely cost more than $2,000. |

He is a wonderful dog and would make a perfect family companion. We are heartbroken for HARLEY. At only four years of age, he has already begun to limit his running and playing while favoring one of his rear legs. Without this surgery, unfortunately, HARLEY, faces a future of increasing pain and discomfort.
How can you help? Your tax-deductible donation to COMPANION CONNECTION (an IRS 501c3 non-profit) will allow us to restore HARLEY to his full adoptable potential. Please call us at 512-285-5620 if you have any further questions. |
