Punky’s story is a sad one... but with a happy ending! 

 

Punky was found under a car starving and dying.  She just hurt so bad she didn’t want to move to find food or water.

 

Evidently, she had been attacked by another animal and had small fractures in her pelvis (which are all healed), but worse was her tail was broken at the base. Oh it hurt.   After a few days, it started to ache more and die.

 

Punky just laid there waiting for death.

 

Finally, nice ladies noticed her and brought her to Companion Connection where she was immediately taken to the veterinary hospital.  Punky received food and fluids and antibiotics.   Overnight she made 150% improvement and after a few days, that dead, stinky tail was removed.

 

 Now, she’s healthy and happy. And, has the most precious personality! She coos when happy.

 

Even without a tail, she is a beautiful cat and would make you a wonder companion.
